Playing the tourist in Toronto

Our mini vacation passed way too quickly! The kids had so much fun; we stayed at the Delta Chelsea, where they have a kid's check-in and a spiral waterslide. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to stay at if you have hooligans like we do.
The first day was a long one; we headed straight to the Toronto Zoo for some animals and even got to pet stingrays:

The next morning I tried my best to make it out to the St. Lawrence Market; unfortunately I couldn't make it until 8 a.m. because the kids wore me out (sadly, I arrived to see a guy leaving with a mid century sputnik inspired light fixture...sigh...) I did see some fun stuff though:
This orange stool caught my eye, so cute!
Little midcentury nesting tables; I wish I had a space for these!
 Cast iron cookware from Finland...
These chairs would be fun around a large children's table; only 15 each

Some nice danish tableware...
The next day we headed out to Center Island (if you have little kids-go! it is so child friendly...ferry rides, parks, rides, ponies...). Big brother was so helpful with little sis..
A little trip to DWR for Mom ended my day on a good note, here is what I am lusting for at the moment:
 Eames hang-it-all in walnut!
This industrial sideboard would be amazing in a kitchen...

I am in love with this table; it is considered an outdoor table but it is so solid I would love to use it in my dining room; it would definitely withstand my kids and look great with some Eiffel chairs.
So that's about it! We ended our trip with some yummy goodness from Wanda's waffles on Young st., and a double-shot of espresso for my husband:
I hope you had a wonderful long weekend!
