Industrial Cool in Kid's Rooms

Lately I've been obsessed with industrial-style decorating. I love the way you can warm up something so utilitarian and cold with colour or warm woods. Industrial style furniture is not only useful in kids rooms, it can grow with them and look cool in a teen's room as well! I am looking forward to using some of this style in Henry's room; here are some of the looks that inspire me:
Love these locker cages, so useful for toys and sport's stuff! Always have adored chalkboards and sign letters too...
An industrial cart change table? Genius!
Love vintage lockers; this is a great example of how fun industrial can be in a kid's room

This vignette sums up exactly the look I am going for in my son's room: part industrial, part school house, great boy-ish colours. I have already found an old metal desk  and typewriter (which he plays with!)that I love for his room; I have one more project in the works that is an old curbside find that I intend to transform with colour. Hint: you see these at variety stores......
