Pulled Pork Sliders

When I first moved to North America, I thought pulled pork sounded and looked disgusting. Now I've changed my tune. So the other night I whipped up some sliders with my leftover slow cooked pork. You can use bottled barbeque sauce, or you can make your own honey BBQ sauce like this:

  • 1.5 c ketchup
  • 1/4 c worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4-1/2 c honey
  • 1/4 c balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cm knob of ginger, grated
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 4 slices of lemon
  • 1 T dry mustard
Put these in a small pot and simmer. Start with the 1/4 c honey and sweeten more to taste. You'll want to simmer it for about 5 mins, then fish out the lemon.

Now shred your pork with a couple of forks and mix in the sauce. Yeah.

Then, if you're feeling a bit Martha, whip these up:

Yeah. Overachiever. Or go to the store and buy some. Pile your pulled pork on one of these babies and devour.
